It is I, Ruby!

Sorry for not going on as much as I should, but my work got deleted a few times lol.

Anyway, this week we had to buddy up with someone to work with. My buddy was Briannah, and fyi her name is said BREE-YAANA. NOT BREE-YANAH The link to her blog is Here.

So we chose to use the kiwaha/saying 'Nek Minute...', and we decided to go with a video instead of a GIF. Loads of peeps chose the common GIF, so we decided to be UniQUe and choose one with audio. I liked how it was actually entertaining, instead of staring at a blank screen all day and hardly doing any work. 

To be honest, I did the work faster than usual, and we had a lot of time to kill afterwards.

THIS GAME BROKE

Hey guys! Today was NOT the day for me! My game kept on breaking and it didn't work and I was getting really annoyed. Also it kept on not saving my progress and the code was instantly deleted. When it kept on doing that I was having really big troubles (obviously) and so that is why my game doesn't work whatsoever.

Anyway if I was to say the pros rather than the cons, the only pros would be the details I was able to add to the character. 

Anyway thanks for reading this shizzle, after what happened with all the drama of the game and it not saving, I really appreciate all of the heartwarming comments.

Hello there reader! This is updated business, as the title says because I was part of a big group. 

Also don't expect much today, sorry, my brain went AWOL.

So anyway, I found this task a little bit difficult because of my lack of experience on websites like these, and also because of the wifi playing up with most of the class. Thanks, wifi. 

But I did find it fun and maybe a LITTLE bit easy because of all of the options of code there was to choose from. The reason I found it easy was because of my friends next to me helping me out and the teachers, so there wasn't much stress on my shoulders.

 I also found it fun because of the writing. Sounds weird, I know.

Just a warning to the people playing the game, there might be a glitch with the boat. If you don't want the glitch to happen, then you have to NOT press the jump button or the forward button when on the boat, or you'll have to restart.

ANYWAYS, enjoy peeps!

For last Wednesday on our Digital Learning we had to do a challenge that included a friend, Google slides, a magical wheel of wisdom that held many options, and Screencastify (although I wasn't so timesavy so I didn't go onto Screencastify.) 

 So for the wheel of wisdom we had a friend press spin for us so that we DIDN'T cheat, *cough cough* and whatever the pointer landed on, we had to Polyline or Curve the shape or thing on Google Docs. And obviously, mine is a hideous houe with no windows. Because the wheel had to be so cruel and choose the ONE thing I didn't want. A house. 

 Anyway, I found this sort of hard because my brain was a bit frozen, and I MIGHT or might NOT have been mucking around, therefore I didn't have time to complete my Screencastify. So I had to improvise and turn in my work I had already completed on Slies, and so I ended up making just a photo, not a video. 

BUT I found it sort of fun to do though, because when I was given the house, it meant that it was a challenge, and in the end it ended up being sort of fun. Anyway thanks for reading my friggin SPEECH and HAVE FUN!  

Teaching kids how to play Mathletics

Today in class we were allowed to pick from making a WeVideo or a Screencastify about teaching kids how to use Mathletics. We also were allowed to have 2 minutes or under to make it.

I found it really simple to use because I had a little bit of experience from my Primary school years. *shiver*

I also found it really simple because I had a quiet room to work in.

I know that my speaking was a little bit quiet but too bad.

I found it sort of hard with my limited time because of the environments I had to choose from were really noisy, therefore holding me up with the amount of time I had left. 

Facts about Anzac Day.

Anzac Day represents all of the fallen soldiers that fought the wars way back in World War Two, also called The Great War. The Great War was fought in 1914 all the way to 19

I'm pretty sure World War Two was fought in the nineteen eighties in Gallipoli. The red (though there is other colours like orange) Flanders poppy is linked with pretty much all of the battlefield deaths since the Great War which was from 1914 to 1918. The poppies were one of the first live plants to grow on the battlefields in the mudflats of Flanders Fields. 

I'm also pretty sure that Anzac stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. every year we bake Anzac cookies, and we follow the recipe for making the original Anzac cookies.

Well that is all I know about Anzac day. I know it's short but that's because it's all I know.

Our WTE (write that essay) Card Prompts.

So our task was to write about our WTE cards that we were given by Miss Manson and Miss Church. In my group was Clare and Jett. With our given cards (a polar bear, a little girl and a skateboard), we decided to write about the little girl called Lilly and she was being chased by a polar bear down the boardwalk of Maiami. I really liked writing in a group because we all gave each other great ideas for our story.

 Even though I had a bumpy start to making my screencastify, I finally made it after a long time. Mainly because I received help from Mr Fourie and Miss Manson. I also found that it was really fun to make.
