Anzac Day represents all of the fallen soldiers that fought the wars way back in World War Two, also called The Great War. The Great War was fought in 1914 all the way to 19
I'm pretty sure World War Two was fought in the nineteen eighties in Gallipoli. The red (though there is other colours like orange) Flanders poppy is linked with pretty much all of the battlefield deaths since the Great War which was from 1914 to 1918. The poppies were one of the first live plants to grow on the battlefields in the mudflats of Flanders Fields.
I'm also pretty sure that Anzac stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. every year we bake Anzac cookies, and we follow the recipe for making the original Anzac cookies.
Well that is all I know about Anzac day. I know it's short but that's because it's all I know.

ReplyDeleteHey Ruby, I did learned a bit just from reading the article of yours, I also really liked that the main parts of the story is more bold so you could see them better. The writing itself is very disruptive too. Keep up the amazing work. -Finn
